Il Padrino hits sweet and boozy right away. Dark rum and amaretto mix with juicy blackcurrant, giving it this almost boozy almond-fruit smell before the amber and woods start coming through. As it dries down, the vanilla and benzoin get sweeter while the labdanum gives it a darker edge.
