Mango and pink pepper hit first, juicy and a little green, not the syrupy fake-fruit kind. Tomato leaf is the weird one in there — it shouldn't work, but it gives the opening a fresh, almost outdoorsy edge. Lavender and star anise settle it down through the middle, then oud, patchouli, and suede take over at the end, warm and a little smoky without going heavy.

People compare this one to Aventus a lot, but it's its own thing — more mango, less pineapple, and less serious about itself.
